Frequently Asked Questions
How does a lottery number generator work?
It uses your browser's built-in cryptographic random number generator to draw unique numbers within each game's official range — for example, 5 numbers from 1 to 69 plus a Powerball from 1 to 26. Every click produces a brand-new random set of lines.
Do quick pick numbers win more often?
No. Every combination has exactly the same odds of winning, whether you pick birthdays, buy a quick pick, or use this generator. Quick picks account for many wins simply because most players buy them — not because they are more likely to win.
Can I generate numbers for any lottery game?
Right now this generator supports Powerball and Mega Millions quick picks — 5 main numbers plus the Powerball or Mega Ball, with 1, 5, or 10 lines per click.
