The calculation behind the result
For k main balls chosen from n, and one separate bonus ball from b possibilities:
N = C(n, k) × b
C(n, k) = n! / (k! × (n − k)!)
For m distinct combinations in the same draw: P = m / N. Duplicated combinations do not add coverage.
For one entry in each of d independent draws: P(at least one jackpot) = 1 − (1 − 1/N)^d.
Assumes fair draws, equally likely valid combinations and unchanged game rules across repeated draws. Displayed probabilities are rounded. The underlying maths uses floating-point arithmetic.
A different way to read the numbers
A “1 in N” chance describes probability. It is not a schedule: a win is not due after N attempts.
Every valid combination has the same jackpot probability in a fair draw. Previous results do not make a number more likely in the next independent draw.
Playing more entries increases coverage but also costs more. This tool provides mathematical education, not a strategy or a recommendation to spend.

Each column uses the selected draw format. Repeated-draw probabilities assume independent drawings. Differences may be hidden by rounding.

Questions worth asking
Does buying the same numbers twice improve my odds?
Two identical entries in one drawing cover only one combination. They may affect a payout if that combination wins, but they do not increase the probability of matching it.
Does this show my chance of any prize?
No. It calculates the chance of matching the jackpot combination only. Smaller-prize odds require separate calculations.
